El texto que Chaplin nunca escribió /the Text Chaplin never wrote
VIDA
Ya perdoné errores casi imperdonables.
Trate de sustituir personas insustituibles,
de olvidar personas inolvidables.
Ya hice cosas por impulso.
Ya me decepcioné con algunas personas ,
mas también yo decepcioné a alguien
Ya abracé para proteger .
Ya me reí cuando no podía .
Ya hice amigos eternos.
Ya amé y fui amado pero también fui rechazado.
Ya fui amado y no supe amar.
Ya grité y salté de felicidad.
Ya viví de amor e hice juramentos eternos,
pero también los he roto y muchos.
Ya lloré escuchando música y viendo fotos .
Ya llamé sólo para escuchar una voz .
Ya me enamoré por una sonrisa.
Ya pensé que iba a morir de tanta nostalgia y …
Tuve miedo de perder a alguien especial
(y termine perdiéndolo) ¡¡
pero sobreviví !!
Y todavía vivo !!
No paso por la vida.
Y tú tampoco deberías sólo pasar …
VIVE!!!
Bueno es ir a la lucha con determinación
abrazar la vida y vivir con pasión.
Perder con clase y vencer con osadía,
por que el mundo pertenece a quien se atreve
y la vida es mucho más para ser insignificante.
Se dice que este texto pertenece a Chaplin, sin embargo no aparece en ninguno de sus libros o entrevistas. Uno de esos… «escritos misteriosos». Como el texto «Instantes» que Borges no escribió.

«I have forgiven mistakes that were unforgivable, I have tried to replace those who were unreplaceable and tried to forget those who were unforgettable. I have done things on impulse. I have been let down by those whom I thought would never let me down but I have also let others down. I have laughed when It was almost impossible to laugh. I have held someone to protect them. I have made life long friends, I’ve loved and been loved. I have screamed and jumped for joy, I have lived on love and made eternal promises of love. I have fallen many times. I have cried while listening to music and also when looking at photos. I have called someone just to hear their voice. I have fallen in love with a smile. I have also thought I was going to die from loosing someone special and I did loose them! but I lived! And I still live! I don’t allow life to pass me by and neither should you! Live! What is really good is to fight with determination, embrace life and live it with passion! Loose your battles with class and dare to win because the world belongs to those who dare and life, Life is worth too much to be insignificant…»
It is said that this text was written by Chaplin but it isn’t proff and not in any of his scripts, books or interviews. How ever I thought it was worth posting it by whom ever it is 🙂
